Who is CW10residents Community Action Group?

CW10residents is currently a group of 240 residents pulling together in the hope to create a sustainable community for Middlewich in the hope of making it a better place to live.

Why was CW10residents Community Action Group formed?

CW10residents was initially formed by a handful of like minded residents who were sick to death of a number of issues affecting the town of Middlewich and its residents. And to be constantly told ‘We will look into it’ or ‘There is nothing we can do’ was just not good enough, because we wanted action not words.

As residents we were all feeling totally unrepresented by our Local Authorities, Councillors and the Police, so we decided to do something about it. And following our initial meeting CW10residents Community Action Group was formed, with our objective and mission statement being ‘Helping to create a sustainable community for Middlewich’

Why offer confidentiality to the residents of Middlewich?

We estimate that only on third of incidents or issues affecting the residents in Middlewich are actually reported to the authorities due to this real threat of intimidation, threats of violence or actual physical harm. And as residents we think it is so sad to think in this day and age that people need confidentiality to speak out on issues that affect them or their town.

CW10residents group now see themselves as the channel to report any issue which is affecting any individual or group of residents secure in the knowledge they have total confidentiality. We guarantee their identities will never become public knowledge and we will never disclose any names when submitted to CW10residents.
