Over the past three years since the conception of CW10residents Community Action Group we have suffered continuous criticism from our councillors and in particular Middlewich’s main political party Middlewich First. But on the other hand we have criticised some of Middlewich Firsts councillor’s for their actions and decisions. And yet it is plain to see that we are all fighting the same battles, fighting the same government red tape and facing the same issues.
We have offered the hand of friendship to no avail, removed any inflammatory pages on our website and we have tried to get one of our members on the town council which they blocked and still there seems to be this big rift between both groups. We have also for the last six months consciously refrained from any public criticism of any councillor despite being unhappy with some of their decisions. Because we feel it is about time this rift between both groups is mended and we can focus on the most important things, like fighting for the residents of Middlewich.
CW10residents Community Action Group has made great steps to show Middlewich First that we are willing to work with them, but we still have to receive any response or moves to mend this rift from them?
