Welcome to CW11residents Community Action Group

Following the successes of CW10residents Community Action Group to bring to the attention local issues to the Town, Borough & County Council at local and national level, we decided to add our experience and support to the issues faced by local residents in Sandbach.

It is apparent that some of the issues faced by residents in Sandbach are similar to those of surrounding towns within Congleton Borough Council control. But some of the issues faced by Sandbach residents such as the Bail Hostel where it houses sex offenders; is an important issue to address. So far this contentious issue has been bought to the attention of the local authority, media and local residents by a small group of residents under the name ‘Time 2 Go’ but there efforts and appeals are going unheard by the local authorities.

And it is about time the local authorities took note that Sandbach residents are quite rightly nervous and anxious about safety issues, especially for their children’s protection. Because it is quite clear that a hostel that houses sex offenders right on the door step of the local community poses a real threat. And we fully intend to offer support to the group called ‘Time 2 Go’ in their fight to close down or stop sex offenders being housed in this bail hostel.
