COUNTY COUNCIL MAKE A SERIOUS ERROR OVER LANDFILL
As promised CW10residents Community Action Group has kept up the pressure on the application for the Kinderton Lodge Landfill Application. And we have now established what we believe to be a serious error in the safety of the public and that the access point to the proposed development site that cannot meet the required safety standards, and therefore cannot be used. And if the County or the developer cannot meet the safety standards, then we believe it is 'CHECKMATE' to CW10residents Community Action Group. Landfill called in by the Secretary of state
We have been informed that the Kinderton Lodge landfill application has been called in by the Secretary of State for a public enquiry by an independent inspector. This is great news and another opportunity for the whole of Middlewich to express their views.
We will keep you all informed on what is going on and would like to thank each and every person who sent in objection letters and signed petitions. We would also like to thank County Councillor Mark Dickson, Cllr Chalky White and other people in authority for their help and support in the fight against this landfill. |

CW** POST CODE GROUPS GATHER MOMENTUM
In every town across the Borough of Congleton there is unrest about decisions being made by local Officers and Councillors that is angering local residents. But there now seems to be a movement by residents across the borough to say enough is enough and they are fighting back. And it is about time that the Officers and Councillors took notice and started to listen to the people they are supposed to represent. |

Middlewich First get all six Borough Council seats
This years election results and low turnout was no surprise following what can only be described as a mockery of the election system. Because out of the eight possible candidates we only had six people running for office, out of those six we only had four candidates living in Middlewich and out of those four we only had one who actually wanted to win, with the rest being put forward as paper candidates, meaning they were just names on the ballot sheet. Middlewich Kinderton Lodge Landfill site approved
Despite a new objection with supporting evidence submitted by CW10 and presented by Cllr Mark Dickson & Cllr Chalky White about the real dangers of possible birdstrikes to aircraft entering Manchester Airport approach flightpath and aircraft within the low level flight corridor the committee still approved the application without making any investigations on the new objection.

Middlewich Eastern Bypass
A Bypass in Middlewich is much needed to ease traffic through our town and the photo to the left shows how the bypass will look in ten years time, assuming no further development happens in the surrounding area.
